Klaus Wiedemann

Since nearly twenty years I am working in different roles at the intersection of business and IT. After working for several small IT companies during my studies, I spent five years as consultant and manager for an international consulting firm before I joined a large corporation as manager. It was the time when the first internet boom was getting hot, so I decided not to stay behind…

Since 1999 I am active in the Startup/Venture Capital environment and gained experience from both sides of the table: Hands-on experience during the early phases of startup companies and several years as investment manager for a Munich based venture capital company.

I started my own consulting business in 2004. In 2006, I teamed up with Michael Gottschalk to found Daisho Blacksmith GmbH, a rapidly growing company. Next to advising high-tech companies of any size – from startup to large international corporations- we are developing a revolutionary software product for professionals, based on our own professional experience.

Some basic facts: Master degree in computer science (Dipl-Inf.) with psychology as minor, CFA Charterholder, married, one cute daughter .

Carmen Schubert

My strengths are Intercultural and Project Management as well as Marketing and Public Relations. In the last five years, I worked on different projects together with international professionals and thereby gathered know-how and lots of experience. A constantly changing business-environment with new, exciting challenges comes along with it. Australia, America, Russia and France have become my “second home”, where I lived and worked for a couple of months.

Now I am back in Germany, working in Munich at DAISHO Blacksmith GmbH in the field of Marketing and PR. Together with an international team, we develop a software and methods for professionals to be able to compete in the modern business world of the 21st century.

Just a few facts: I have a Bachelor degree in International Management and soon my Master degree in International Business.

Sandra Lenz

Prior to DAISHO Blacksmith GmbH, I gathered six years of professional experience in various communication, marketing and consulting roles. Starting in the editorial department of a leading advertising magazine, I was working for the Marketing and Communication department of a global company, before moving on to a specialized consulting firm, focussing on sales strategies and sales optimization.

Both Marketing and Consulting are my passion and I am very happy to be able to combine them at DAISHO Blacksmith GmbH. Understanding and fulfilling the needs of customers or target groups through a goal oriented approach is what keeps me excited. And doing that on an international scale is even more exciting…

As we advise international and global customers, our company language is English (we are an international team with people from four different continents) – so at DAISHO Blacksmith globalization is just there with us.

Some more facts about me: I have a master degree in sociology (Dipl. Soz.) with minor in psychology and I was lucky to study several months in the amazing city Sydney, Australia.

Michael Gottschalk

Since more than twenty years I am working in different roles at the intersection of business and IT. After my studies, I decided to start as a software programmer in the environment of complex logistic solutions. From that point, I startet a typical career beginning as a software programmer and “ended up” as a managing director of a huge international ICT Company.

No matter, which position I held, my passion has always been on efficiency and goal-oriented work with a strong focus on a work-life-balance. I believe that this is the most critical success factor for a long-term successful career. In 2003 I met Klaus for the first time during a management buy-in project for a smaller high-tech company.

In 2004 I started my own consulting business with a strong focus on sales optimization processes. I teamed up with Klaus in 2006 to found the Daisho Blacksmith GmbH, a rapidly growing company.
